There is hereby created the position of part-time
Plumbing Subcode Official for the Township of Little Egg Harbor.
A.
Under the direction of the Construction Official,
the Plumbing Subcode Official has the subordinate administrative responsibility
for administering the plumbing subcode of the State Uniform Construction
Code within the concerned jurisdiction, and inspects and/or supervises
the inspection of plumbing work in construction projects underway
to ensure that compliance with plans and specifications approved in
accordance with the State Uniform Construction Code is achieved. The
Plumbing Subcode Official shall also perform other related work as
required.
B.
To be appointed to the position of Plumbing Subcode
Official, an individual shall possess the following:
(1)
A valid license as a plumbing subcode official issued
by the Code Enforcement License Office, Division of Housing and Urban
Renewal, Department of Community Affairs.
(2)
A driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the
operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary
to perform the essential duties of the position.
(3)
The statutory requirements for appointment as a subcode
official as set forth in N.J.S.A. 52:27D-126, Subdivision c.
The Plumbing Subcode Official shall work a maximum
of 19 hours per week.
