Pursuant to the authority conferred by N.J.S.A. 40:67-1(j), the system of numbering all buildings and lots prepared by the Township Engineer, as heretofore adopted, is hereby continued.
A. 
It shall be the duty of the owner or occupant of each dwelling house or business building to display, in the manner hereafter stated, the street number assigned by the Township Engineer.
B. 
Within 90 days of completion of any dwelling house or business building, the owner or occupant shall comply with the provisions of this chapter.

The number assigned to each house or building shall be displayed on the front of each house or building, or in the front yard of the lot on which the house or building stands, in numerals of the size not less than five inches in height and so located as to be clearly visible to persons passing by the premises on the abutting street.
