[Adopted 11-5-1979 as §§ 18-1 and 18-45 to 18-46 of the 1979 Revised General Ordinances]
The purpose of this article is to protect certain areas of the Township, designated as nature preserves in § 210-8, from unsightly appearance, alteration or deterioration.
The following areas are designated as nature preserves:

Within any designated nature preserve, no person shall:
A. 
Dump or dispose of any garbage, refuse matter, junk or waste material;
B. 
Remove any natural material therefrom;
C. 
Alter any existing feature; or
D. 
Except in an emergency, operate any motor vehicle thereon, without obtaining the approval of the Council.
Unless another penalty is expressly provided herein, any person who violates any provision of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine not exceeding $500, or by imprisonment for a term not exceeding 90 days, or both. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
