The Planning Board or the Board of Adjustment, as the case may be, when acting upon applications for preliminary or minor subdivision approval, or upon applications for preliminary site plan approval, shall have the power to grant such exceptions from the requirements for such approvals as may be reasonable and within the general purpose and intent of the provisions of this chapter if the literal enforcement of one or more provisions of this chapter is impracticable or will exact undue hardship because of peculiar conditions pertaining to the land in question.
Copies of this chapter shall be filed with the County Clerk, the County Planning Board and the Township Clerk and shall be made available to any persons desiring a copy upon the payment of a fee established by the Township Committee.
Unless otherwise specifically provided herein, any violation of the provisions of this chapter shall be punishable as provided in § 1-3, General penalty, of this Code. Each day that a violation shall continue shall constitute a separate offense, except as otherwise set forth herein.

If any section, sentence, clause or phrase of this chapter is for any reason held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such a decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this chapter.
This chapter specifically repeals existing Chapters 11, 50, 78 and 84 of the Code of the Township of Morris.[1] In addition, all ordinances and parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
