This chapter shall be known and cited as the "Zoning Ordinance of the Township of Morris."
The purposes set forth in Chapter 57, Land Development, of the Code of the Township of Morris are incorporated herein by reference, as if set forth in full.

A. 
The intent of this chapter is to establish a precise and detailed plan for the use of land and buildings in the Township of Morris, based upon the Township Master Plan, and any amendments thereto, enacted in order to promote and protect the public health, safety, morals, comfort, convenience and the general welfare of the people.
B. 
This chapter of the Code of the Township of Morris shall be viewed as a permissive chapter. In no instance after the adoption of this chapter shall any use be permitted in the Township of Morris which is not listed as a permitted, accessory or conditional use as specified herein.[1]
