Unless expressly allowed as an accessory use by § 560-30D(14), Outdoor dining, it shall be unlawful and is hereby prohibited for any person in, on or upon any public street, sidewalk, thoroughfare, alley, walkway, playground or public property in the Borough of Bridgeport, whether in a motor vehicle or as a pedestrian, to drink or consume any beverage.
It shall be unlawful and it is hereby prohibited for any person in, on or upon a public street, sidewalk, thoroughfare, alley, walkway, playground or public property in the Borough of Bridgeport, whether in a motor vehicle or as a pedestrian, to carry, transport or have control of any beverage except in the original package, which shall not have been opened.

Any person who shall be convicted of a violation of any of the provisions of this article before any Magisterial District Judge shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $600 and costs of prosecution and, in default of payment of such fine and costs, to imprisonment for not more than 30 days.
