The smoking or carrying of lighted cigarettes, cigars, pipes or matches and the use of matches or fire-producing devices in any bus transporting passengers as a common carrier within the Borough of Bridgeport is prohibited.

Any person who shall fail, neglect or refuse to comply with any of the terms or provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof before a Magisterial District Judge of the Borough of Bridgeport, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $600 and costs of prosecution for each offense, to be collected as other fines and costs are by law collectible.
