All owners of buildings or structures on premises abutting any street or sewerage easement benefitting the premises in which a sanitary sewer line has been laid, or to which premises a sanitary sewer line is available within 100 feet of a property line, shall promptly connect thereto and cause all sewage on such premises to be discharged into the sanitary sewer, subject to the exceptions set forth in N.J.A.C. 7:9A-1.6(e).
Where any sanitary sewer shall hereafter be constructed in any street or sanitary sewerage easement in the Township of Bernards, the owners of such buildings or structures on premises abutting any street or sanitary sewerage easement benefitting the premises in which a sanitary sewer line has been laid, or to which premises a sanitary sewer line is available within 100 feet without requiring that an easement across private or public property be obtained, shall promptly connect thereto and cause all sewage on such premises to be discharged into the sanitary sewer.
Whenever any building or structure shall hereafter be constructed on premises abutting any street or sanitary sewerage easement benefitting the premises in the Township of Bernards, in which a sanitary sewer exists and is in operation, said building or structure shall be connected with the sanitary sewer during the course of construction, and no use or occupancy of such building or premises shall be permitted until said sewer connection has been made, inspected and approved.
