This article shall be known and may be cited
as the "Village of New Haven Water Supply Chemical Substance Control
Ordinance."
From and after the effective date of this article,
no chemical substances shall be added to the public water supply of
the Village of New Haven without approval of the Village Council.
The addition of any chemical substance designed
to artificially increase the fluoridation content of the New Haven
public water supply above its present natural content is hereby expressly
prohibited, and the Village shall be exempt from the provisions of
Act 346, Public Acts of 1968.
This article is deemed necessary for the health,
safety and welfare of the residents of the Village of New Haven and
shall become effective immediately upon adoption and publication within
the manner prescribed by law.
