No person shall permit any vehicle under his care or control to stand upon the gravel or tarvia surface of any public way in such a manner as to obstruct the travel over the same for an unnecessary length of time.
A. 
No person shall stop with any vehicle in any public way or near to another vehicle as to obstruct public travel.
B. 
No person shall stop with any vehicle upon or across any crossing in any public way.
C. 
No person shall stop with any vehicle upon or over any culvert or bridge in any public way.
D. 
No person shall stop with any vehicle in any public way to a point where such vehicle cannot be seen from a vehicle approaching in either direction when at a distance of 150 feet.
After sunset and before 7:00 a.m. no person shall permit any vehicle under his care or control to stand in any part of any public way for an unnecessary length of time.
Every person having charge or control of any vehicle upon a public way shall stop, change the position of, move or proceed with it through the Town without further unnecessary stopping or delay, as directed by any police officer, Selectman, constable, or member of the Fire Department.
Every person having charge or control of a vehicle upon a public way shall comply with and obey the directions upon all signs, movable posts, or mechanical devices placed by direction of the Board of Selectmen or by a police officer on or near such street unless otherwise directed by a police officer.
Unless in an emergency or to allow another vehicle or pedestrian to cross a public way, no vehicle shall stop in any public way except as close to the righthand side thereof as the condition of the roadway permits.
Sections 169-1 and 169-3 shall not apply to the vehicles of persons visiting residences or other buildings who stop their vehicles reasonably near to such residences or other buildings.
No person shall permit any vehicle under his care or control to stand upon the private land of another without the consent of the owner of such land or the person in charge thereof.
