No person shall engage in the town in the business of operating a taxicab
without first obtaining from the Board of Selectmen a license therefor. Every
motor vehicle used or to be used for the conveyance of persons for hire shall
be deemed to be a "taxicab."

The provisions of this chapter shall be enforced by local police, Massachusetts
Environmental Police and local officials appointed to enforce these regulations.
