No person shall carry a loaded shotgun or rifle nor discharge any firearm,
rocket, gunpowder or other explosive, and no hunters shall be permitted to
use firearms, within the Village of Canton. All such guns shall be broken
or unloaded when carried on the streets or fields of the village.
As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings
indicated:
Includes the words "firm" and "corporation."
Any violation of any section of this chapter shall constitute disorderly
conduct and such violation shall be punishable by imprisonment in the St.
Lawrence County Jail for a term not exceeding six months or by a fine not
exceeding $50, or both.
