A.
There is hereby duly created the office and title of
Clerk of the Village Justice Court of the Village of Cedarhurst.
B.
Term of office. The term of office shall be annual in
conformity with the annual fiscal year of the Village, commencing as of April
1, and such Clerk shall be appointed annually and shall serve at the pleasure
of the Mayor and Village Justice.
C.
Residence requirement. The Clerk of the Village Justice
Court shall be a resident of the County of Nassau.
D.
The Clerk of the Village Justice Court shall annually
execute an oath of office and shall be bonded in such amount or penal sum
as may be fixed, from time to time, by resolution of the Board of Trustees.

Acting Village Justice of the Village of Cedarhurst.
B.
Term of office. The term of office shall be annual in
conformity with the annual fiscal year of the Village, commencing April 1,
and such acting Village Justice shall be appointed annually and shall serve
at the pleasure of the Mayor.
C.
Residence requirement. The Acting Village Justice shall
be a resident of the County of Nassau.
