It shall be unlawful for any person to place,
deposit or permit to be deposited in any unsanitary manner on public
or private property within the Village of Cedarhurst or in any area
under the jurisdiction of the Village any human or animal excrement,
garbage or other objectionable waste.
It shall be unlawful to discharge to any natural
outlet within the Village or in any area under the jurisdiction of
the Village, any sewage or other polluted waters, except where suitable
treatment has been provided in accordance with subsequent provisions
of this chapter.
Where there is a public sewer physically available
to properties within the boundaries of the Village of Cedarhurst sewer
districts, it is mandatory that said properties be connected to said
public sewer within two years after the date of official notice to
do so. All applications to construct, install, alter, replace, modify
or change a building sewer shall be made and submitted to the Village,
in writing, upon the form provided for such purpose by the Village,
together with the permit fee in accordance with the provisions of
this chapter. No private sewage disposal systems other than pretreatment
systems for discharge to the Village system as provided for herein
are now allowed nor shall be allowed within the sewer districts.
