A. 
As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
DEVIATE SEXUAL INTERCOURSE
Oral or anal sexual intercourse between human beings and any form of sexual intercourse with an animal. The term also includes penetration, however slight, of the genitals or anus of another person with a foreign object for any purpose other than good faith medical, hygienic or law enforcement procedures.
PUBLIC INDECENCY
A person who knowingly or intentionally, in a public place:
(1) 
Engages in sexual intercourse;
(2) 
Engages in deviate sexual intercourse; or
(3) 
Fondles the genitals of himself, herself or another person.
PUBLIC PLACE
All outdoor places, and all buildings and enclosed places owned by and/or open to the general public, including, without limitation, places of entertainment, taverns, restaurants, clubs, theaters, dance halls, banquet halls, party rooms and/or halls, regardless of whether same are limited to specific members, restricted to adults or to patrons invited to attend, and regardless of whether or not an admission charge is levied.
B. 
To the extent any terms are not defined herein, the terms shall have the meanings as defined in the Pennsylvania Crimes Code.[1]

Public indecency within the limits of the Township is hereby prohibited, and no person shall engage in such conduct or commit such acts within Hatfield Township.
Any person violating and/or any other person or corporation habitually permitting person(s) under their employment to commit violations of any of the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of the offense of public indecency and, upon conviction thereof in a summary proceeding before any District Justice, shall be sentenced to pay a fine or penalty not exceeding $600 and the costs of prosecution and, in default of the payment of said fine or penalty and/or costs, shall be sentenced to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 30 days.
