The Town of Woodbridge Building Department shall
not approve any building applications or issue any building permits[1] unless the applicant provides to the Town of Woodbridge
Building Department a fully completed tax status form, issued by the
office of the Woodbridge Tax Collector, indicating either that:
A.
All Town taxes for the property for which the application
is made are current and paid in full; or
B.
The owner of the property for which the application
is made has entered into a payment program approved by the Tax Collector
to pay off any arrearage in taxes which may be due and that the program
is being complied with on a current basis.
For the purposes of § 382-11, "building application" shall include application for a building, electrical or plumbing permit or any other permit which may be duly issued from the Town of Woodbridge Building Department.
The tax status form referred to in § 382-11 shall be prepared by the office of the Tax Collector and shall contain the following information:
