[Adopted 3-8-2001, effective 4-9-2001 (Ch. 6, Art. X, of the 1983 Code)]
The Town of Woodbridge Building Department shall not approve any building applications or issue any building permits[1] unless the applicant provides to the Town of Woodbridge Building Department a fully completed tax status form, issued by the office of the Woodbridge Tax Collector, indicating either that:
A. 
All Town taxes for the property for which the application is made are current and paid in full; or
B. 
The owner of the property for which the application is made has entered into a payment program approved by the Tax Collector to pay off any arrearage in taxes which may be due and that the program is being complied with on a current basis.

For the purposes of § 382-11, "building application" shall include application for a building, electrical or plumbing permit or any other permit which may be duly issued from the Town of Woodbridge Building Department.
The tax status form referred to in § 382-11 shall be prepared by the office of the Tax Collector and shall contain the following information:
A. 
Date of the application.
B. 
Name and business address of the applicant.
C. 
Property address for which the application is made.
D. 
Name and business address of the property owner.
E. 
Statement signed by the Tax Collector indicating that either:
(1) 
The taxes on the property are current; or
(2) 
A payment schedule is in effect and current for repayment of any delinquent taxes.
