The purpose of this chapter is to authorize public servants of the Town
of Clarence to issue and serve appearance tickets in connection with violations
of state statutes, local laws, ordinances or rules and regulations of the
Town of Clarence which the public servants are authorized or required to enforce.
A.
The following public servants of the Town of Clarence
are hereby authorized to issue and serve appearance tickets with respect to
violations of a state statute, a local law, ordinance rule or regulation of
the Town of Clarence that such public servants are required or authorized
to enforce:

Additions or deletions to the list of those public servants
of the Town of Clarence authorized to issue and serve appearance tickets may
be amended by a resolution of the Town Board when deemed necessary.
An appearance ticket other than for a parking violation shall be served
personally.
The above public servants shall have the right to issue appearance tickets
and any other duly authorized procedures, unless otherwise revoked, modified
or restricted by the Town Board, for the enforcement of the provisions of
this Code.
It shall be the duty of the above public servants to keep a record of
any and all appearance tickets or the like issued hereunder, subject to the
direction and control of the Town Board.
