It is the intention of this chapter to regulate the hours during which the commercial use of rockcrushers and other machines used in quarrying, mining, etc., is permitted.
A. 
No person, firm or corporation engaged in the mining, quarrying or processing of gravel, shale or other aggregate for commercial purposes shall use rockcrushers or other machinery except during the following hours and days:
(1) 
7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
(2) 
7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturdays.
B. 
No operation as set forth above is permitted on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, July 4 or Memorial Day.
Every person, firm or corporation who violates the provisions of § 107-2 of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be subjected to a fine of not less than $50 and not more than $500. Each violation shall constitute a separate offense.
