The area of the mobile home stand shall be improved to provide
an adequate foundation for the placement and tie-down of the mobile
home, thereby securing the superstructure against uplift, sliding,
rotation and overturning. The stand should provide for practical placement
on and removal from the lot of the mobile home and retention of the
home on the lot in satisfactory relationship to its surroundings.
The following specific requirements shall be met:
A. There shall be a longitudinal gradient of 0%, 5% and an adequate
crown or cross-gradient for surface drainage.
B. The location of each mobile home stand shall be at such elevation,
distance and angle in relation to the park roadways and the accessway
to the mobile home that placement and removal of the mobile home is
practical.
C. The mobile home stand shall not heave, shift or settle unevenly under
the weight of the mobile home due to frost action, inadequate drainage,
vibration or other forces acting on the superstructure.
D. The mobile home stand shall be provided with anchors and tie-downs
such as cast-in-place concrete deadmen, eyelets embedded in concrete
foundations or runways, screw augers, arrowhead anchors or other devices
securing the stability of the mobile home.
