All terms used in this article shall be given their meanings as defined in the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York.
The parking of any motor vehicle on or along any of the following streets or parts of streets is hereby prohibited:
A. 
The westerly boundary of U.S. Route 9 at the intersection of the northerly side of Old Route 9, thence westerly and northerly along the northerly and easterly sides of Old Route 9 to a point 200 feet, plus or minus, north of Utility Pole CH28918/NY31, said point being the northerly terminus of the public highway (Old Route 9), in the Town of Fishkill.
B. 
Red Schoolhouse Road (County Route No. 36) between New York State Route 52 and Old Glenham Road.

The north and south sides of Old Glenham Road beginning 500 feet west of Maple Street for a distance of 1,500 feet to the intersection of St. John's Place.

Brockway Road, from the western terminus of the Town-maintained portion to a point 1,000 feet easterly.

Around the Greenwood Drive cul-de-sac, beginning at Utility Pole CH54741 on the southerly side of Greenwood Drive at the Rihm property, thence easterly and northerly around the paved cul-de-sac a distance of 100 feet, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., prevailing time.

The north side of Old Glenham Road, 25 feet in an easterly direction from the center of the Slater Chemical Fire Company's westernmost driveway.

No vehicle that fails to display a valid certificate of inspection or that fails to display a set of number plates shall be parked on or along any of the public highways in the Town of Fishkill, excluding those public highways located in the Village of Fishkill or owned and maintained by the State of New York.

The Town of Fishkill declares the following to be parking offenses subject to the penalties set forth in Article VIII of this chapter:
A. 
Obstructing a designated fire lane.
B. 
Obstructing a fire hydrant by parking within 15 feet of a hydrant.
C. 
Double parking in the right-of-way next to a vehicle parked at the curb.
D. 
Parking in a marked space reserved for the handicapped without the required permit.
E. 
Parking in a marked crosswalk.
F. 
Parking on a sidewalk.
G. 
Blocking a driveway, public or private.
H. 
Parking against traffic on the wrong side of the street.

The stopping and/or standing of motor vehicles at any time is hereby prohibited in the locations described in Schedule C,[1] annexed hereto and incorporated herein.

The Town Board of the Town of Fishkill may, from time to time, amend, supplement or repeal the contents of the schedules in this chapter by resolution.

Any violation of this article shall constitute a traffic infraction, subject to the penalties set forth in Article VIII of this chapter.
