The purpose of this article is to adopt the provisions of Article 2-B of the General City Law.[1]

The provisions of Article 2-B of the General City Law, entitled "City Business Improvement District Law," are hereby adopted for the City of Geneva, New York so as to be applicable to the establishment or extension of districts in the city.

The purpose of this article is to approve the establishment of the Geneva City Business Improvement District.
Pursuant to the authority granted by Article 2-B of the General City Law,[1] the City of Geneva hereby approves the establishment of the Geneva City Business Improvement District in accordance with the provisions of the General City Law and the District Plan submitted to the city and on file in the City Clerk's office and further approves of the construction of the improvement and the providing of the services in said district as contained in said District Plan.
