There have been many incidents reported to other communities of death due to suffocation of children in abandoned, unattended iceboxes, refrigerators and other containers having airtight doors which, when closed, cannot be opened from the inside. These abandoned, unattended or discarded iceboxes, refrigerators and other containers are a constant menace to the health, welfare and safety of children of the Borough.
