It shall be unlawful for any person to dump or deposit any junk or inoperable motor vehicles, or parts of motor vehicles upon any private property or upon or along any public street or other public place; providing, however, that nothing herein contained shall prohibit the placing, keeping or storing of any such motor vehicles in a garage or enclosed structure; provided further that this chapter shall not apply to the operation of open lots upon which motor vehicles or parts thereof are sold or exchanged, and shall not apply to persons lawfully engaged in the sale or repairs of motor vehicles.
Violations of this chapter shall be penalized as provided in Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article III, General Penalty.
