It shall be unlawful for any person or number of persons to stand, loiter or walk upon any street or sidewalk in the town as to obstruct free passage over, on or along said street or sidewalk, or free access to any walkway, stairway, door, store, business or building abutting any such street or sidewalk, after being requested by any member of the Police Department to permit unobstructed passage over or along said street or sidewalk, or to or from any such walkway, stairway, door, store, business or building abutting such street or sidewalk.
Any person who violates the provision of this chapter shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $20 for each offense.
