Pursuant to the provisions of Town Law § 116, the Town Board of the Town of Lake George, Warren County, hereby authorizes the Town officers of said Town to expend all moneys necessary in executing the duties of their respective offices, in cases where no specific compensation for such service is provided by law, for travel, office rent, janitor service, light, heat, telephone, postage, furniture, books, stationery and supplies.
The Town Board shall reimburse such officers a reasonable mileage allowance, as established by resolution of the Town Board and on file for public inspection in the office of the Town Clerk, for the use of their own automobiles for each mile actually and necessarily traveled by them in performance of the duties of their office or position or in attending an approved training course, conference or school.
Such necessary expenditures shall be Town charges against said Town.
Said Town officers shall be reimbursed therefor upon the proper audit of duly itemized and verified bills therefor.
