No person shall fire or discharge any gun, pistol, rifle, firing piece or other firearm within the Village limits, except as provided for in § 106-2 hereof.

Any owner or lessee and their guests may fire or discharge the weapons referred to in § 106-1 upon the property of said owner or lessee in a manner which shall not disturb adjacent property owners or endanger the lives of other inhabitants of the Village.
No member of a military organization or any other person or persons shall discharge a cannon or other piece of artillery without a permit from the Mayor of the Village so to do. The provision of this section shall not be operative on July 4 of each year.
The carrying of any exposed gun, pistol, rifle, firing piece or other firearm within the Village limits shall be presumptive evidence of a violation of this chapter.
Any person violating any provision of this chapter shall pay a penalty of not more than $100, and in addition thereto, such violation shall constitute and is hereby declared to be disorderly conduct, and any person violating the same shall be and is hereby declared to be a disorderly person.
