For the purpose of this chapter, the Village of Old Westbury is divided into the following classes of districts:
BB Residence Districts
B-4 Residence Districts
B Residence Districts
A Residence Districts
C Residence Districts
Business A Districts
Business C Districts
The boundaries of said districts are hereby established as shown upon Building Zone Maps[1] which accompany and which, with the notations, references and other matter shown thereon, are hereby declared to be a part of this chapter. Said maps and all the notations, references and other things shown thereon shall be as much a part of this chapter as if the matters and things shown on said maps were all fully described herein.

Unless as otherwise set forth herein, any person violating any provision of this chapter shall pay a penalty of not more than $10,000 for each and every offense, and each day a violation is continued after written notice from the enforcement officer shall constitute a separate violation, so as to subject the violator to a fine of up to $10,000 for each separate violation, provided that a separate accusatory instrument is served and filed for each violation, but in no event shall the penalty be less than $500. In all cases, the Village and the Board of Trustees may enforce obedience to Chapter 216 by injunction.

No building shall be erected, altered or used, and no premises shall be used for any other purpose permitted in the zone in which such buildings shall be erected, altered or used or such premises used, except in conformity with the regulations herein prescribed for the zone in which such buildings or premises are located.
In any particular instance where there is doubt as to the exact location of a district boundary line, the Board of Appeals, in conformity with Article XI of this chapter, shall have the power to interpret such location so that the intent of this chapter and said maps shall be observed and the neighborhood affected thereby shall be safeguarded.
