The Fire Inspector, or his/her designee, shall have the authority to issue open burn permits in College Township in accordance with the most recent, adopted version of the International Fire Code, with the following exceptions.
A. 
Unless special permission is granted by the Fire Inspector, the open burning of construction material, land clearing debris, trash, and/or any form of vegetation is prohibited on all lands not primarily used for agricultural purposes.
B. 
No provision of this chapter shall be interpreted to prohibit burning of appropriate fuels in residential fireplaces (indoor or outdoor), barbeques, grills, or small recreational fires that are fully contained within a chiminea, fire ring, or similar device.
