Editor's Note: Former Art. II, Local Services Tax, adopted
11-15-1977 by Ord. No. 20, as amended 9-9-2007 by Ord. No. 2007-5,
was repealed 12-15-2008 by Ord. No. 2008-3, which ordinance provided
an effective date of 1-1-2009. Said ordinance further provided that:
"Nothing herein shall be construed to repeal the imposition and collection
of an occupation privilege tax, plus applicable penalties and interest,
for calendar year 2005 and all prior calendar years, or of an emergency
and municipal services tax, plus applicable penalties and interest,
for calendar years 2006 and 2007, or of a local services tax, plus
penalties and interest, for calendar year 2008, all as the same existed
prior to the enactment of this ordinance."
