Township of Elizabeth, PA Chapter 35 Planning Commission

§ 35-1 Commission established.

The Board of Supervisors hereby establishes the Elizabeth Township Planning Commission as consisting of five members pursuant to the provisions of Article II of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code, 53 P.S. § 201 et seq., effective January 1, 2024.

§ 35-2 Membership; terms of office.

The Elizabeth Township Planning Commission shall be comprised of five members who shall serve terms of office of four years in accordance with the provisions of Article II of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code. In accordance with said Article II, the terms of the members of the Elizabeth Township Planning Commission shall be staggered terms with the terms of not more than two members expiring each year.

§ 35-3 Powers and duties.

The Elizabeth Township Planning Commission shall have all of the powers and duties conferred and imposed in accordance with Article II of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code.
