Editor's Note: Ordinance No. 2013-01, adopted 1-28-2013, separated
the responsibilities of the Treasurer from those of the elected position
of Tax Collector. At the direction of the Township, the title of this
chapter was changed from "Treasurer and Tax Collector" to "Tax Collector."
A fee shall be charged for any search and certification
of records by the Tax Collector. A fee shall also be charged for any
requested search and computer printout or copying of tax records where
no certification is requested. A fee per tax year shall be charged
for any requested duplication of any tax bill. The fees and charges
authorized by this section may, from time to time, be amended by resolution
of the Board of Commissioners.

The compensation for the Tax Collector shall
be:
Should any check tendered to the Tax Collector
or payment of any tax be returned for insufficient funds, any bank
charges assessed against the Township by reason thereof shall be and
hereby are added to the amount of tax due.
Should any taxpayer pay any tax after December
15 in any year, such payment shall be made by certified check, cashier's
check or money order.
