[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees

44.50 of the 1974 Code. Amendments noted where applicable.]
No person shall permit grass to grow in excess
of four inches on any improved lot in the Village either on the owner's
property or between the sidewalk and the curb or traveled portion
of the street or highway abutting said premises.
If the owner shall fail to perform the work
within five days after notice by the appropriate Village official,
the Village may perform the work and assess the cost thereof against
the premises and collect the amount in the same manner as Village
taxes are collected.
