[Adopted 11-13-1967 (Ch. 20, Art. III, Secs. 20-41 and 20-42, of the Code of Ordinances)]
No vehicle, the wheels or any portion of which come into contact with the surface of the street and present thereto a broken, sharp or such other surface as tends to be injurious, shall be drawn or in any manner propelled upon any of the streets of the City.
A. 
No person shall propel or cause to be propelled upon any street any vehicle weighing over five tons, with or without load, having caterpillar traction, without first procuring a written permit from the City Manager.
B. 
Each violation of this section shall subject the violator, in addition to the penalty provided in § 1-12, to liability to the City for any damage to such streets.
