The Town Board of the Town of North Greenbush
is hereby authorized to compensate the Town Attorney a fixed amount
for the performance of the certain specified services performed as
Town Attorney and also for additional services performed in excess
thereof, with such additional compensation to be computed at an hourly
rate which shall be determined from time to time by the Town Board.
The additional legal services performed by the
Town Attorney shall be properly documented, specifying the amount
of time spent, and payment to the Town Attorney for the additional
services is to be made pursuant to the payroll method.
This article is intended to supersede §
27 of the Town Law regarding salaries.
