A. 
The following specifications apply to all water mains and services installed on public or private property connected directly or indirectly to the North Greenbush water system or any system served by agreement within the Town of North Greenbush. All plans and specifications for such water mains shall be reviewed and approved by the Superintendent of Water, the Water Inspector or other duly authorized officials of the Town of North Greenbush prior to construction.
B. 
Standard Details of the North Greenbush Water Department supplement these specifications and shall be considered an integral part hereof.[1]

Whenever American Water Works Association (AWWA) or American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standards are referenced in these specifications, the latest version of the standard referenced shall be applicable.
