Village of Perry, NY Article III Parking, Standing and Stopping

§ 405-17 Applicability.

The provisions of the article shall apply except when it is necessary to stop a vehicle to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the directions of a police officer or official traffic control device.

§ 405-18 Parking prohibited at all times.

A. No person shall park a vehicle at any time upon any of the streets or parts of streets described below:

B. There shall be no parking in the Village right-of-way adjacent to the highway. Parking is prohibited between the curb and the sidewalk on all streets in the Village of Perry. Parking is permitted on the existing shoulder area of the Village right-of-way. However, in Village streets where there are no curbs there shall be no parking beyond the shoulder on the grass or unpaved portion of the Village right-of-way. Any violation will be dealt with in accordance with Article V, § 405-29, Penalties for offenses.

§ 405-19 No stopping.
