Editor's Note: This local law passed at referendum 11-6-1979.
The first paragraph of § 24 of the
Town Law is hereby amended in its application to the Town of Bergen,
New York, by adding a new sentence as follows:

The term of office of the Town Clerk shall be
four years, effective with the term beginning January 1, 1984.
