The purpose of this chapter is to establish procedures for the
adoption of local laws by Cuba Village pursuant to the Municipal Home
Rule Law, Article 3, §§ 20 through 27.
All provisions of the Municipal Home Rule Law, Article 3, §§ 20
through 27, shall apply and be followed by Cuba Village when adopting
local laws, except as otherwise provided herein.
All public hearing notices required for adoption of a local
law or laws shall be published at least five days prior to the date
fixed for such public hearing.
All notices for public hearing required for the adoption of
a local law pursuant to the Municipal Home Rule Law of the State of
New York shall be published in the official newspaper of Cuba Village
and shall contain either the text of said local law or laws or a general
summary of the contents thereof sufficient to identify the intent
and effect of said local law or laws.
