The following rules and regulations are applicable
to all Radnor Township park and recreation areas.

The park and recreation areas shall be open
from dawn until dark throughout the year. Use at any other time shall
be by written authorization of the Recreation Department.
The use of ballfields, picnic areas, camping
areas and conservation areas by sponsored or organized groups of more
than 10 persons shall be by permit only and shall be scheduled by
the Recreation Department.
A.
The following are prohibited:
(1)
Damaging, defacing, destroying or removing any property,
vegetation, building, equipment or notices.
(2)
Discarding of trash, garbage or other litter except
into containers provided for that purpose.
(3)
Possession or use of any type of firearms where such
possession or use is in violation of the Pennsylvania Uniform Firearms
Act, 18 Pa.C.S.A. § 6101 et seq. Archery equipment may only
be used in special areas as may be provided for such use.

(4)
Possession or use of alcoholic beverages.
(5)
Fires, except in facilities especially provided for
that purpose.
(6)
Boisterous, immoral or indecent actions or conduct
annoying to other users of the park.
(7)
Motorized vehicles, except licensed vehicles on designated
roadways and within posted speed limits weighing less than 10,000
pounds. Verbal permission may be given by the Township Manager and/or
the Director of Parks and Recreation for vehicles over 10,000 pounds.

Pets running free. Pets may accompany owners when
under control except in areas specifically posted against pets.
(9)
Swimming, boating, ice skating and golfing, except
in those areas specifically designated for those purposes.

B.
Fishing in the pond areas shall be restricted to resident
children 15 years of age or younger.

Any person violating any provision herein shall
be guilty of a summary offense and, upon conviction thereof, shall
be liable to a fine of not more than $600, plus costs of prosecution,
and, in default of payment of such fine and costs, to imprisonment
in the county jail for a term not exceeding 30 days.

As used in this article, the following terms
shall have the meanings indicated:
A field with one or more athletic facilities that are permitted
for use by the Township Department of Parks and Recreation.
A.
In order for a playing field to be considered closed,
the Township of Radnor shall:
(1)
Announce the closure of the field on the local access
cable television station on which Township messages are normally carried
with the same degree of frequency other Township messages are carried
for a period of at least one week prior to the field closure.
(2)
Advertise at least one week prior to the field closure
in at least one newspaper of general circulation in the Township that
the field will be closed.
(3)
Post a minimum of two signs at the field indicating
that the field is officially closed.
If, when a playing field has been closed, individuals
or groups play on a closed field, they would then be considered trespassing.
This violation would then be cited and will carry a fine or punishment
that shall be determined by the District Justice.
