No person shall have or permit to remain parked
or unattended any wagon, sleigh, automobile, truck trailer or other
vehicle in any street or highway of said Village of Haverstraw except
where expressly allowed by resolution of the Village Board of Trustees
as indicated by street signals between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and
6:00 a.m. from November 15 to the 31st day of March in each and every
official Village year, under a penalty of $50 for each offense.
A.
In the event of any wagon, sleigh, automobile, truck,
trailer or other vehicle being left in any street or highway of the
Village of Haverstraw except where permitted between the hours of
2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. from November 15 to March 31 in each and every
official Village year, the same shall be and hereby is declared to
be a nuisance, and it shall be removed from said street or highway
at the expense of the owner thereof.
B.
The same shall be returned to the owner thereof upon
the payment of the necessary expense or the removal and care of the
same.
This article shall take effect immediately.
