Pursuant to the authority contained in § 3-300 of the Village Law of the State of New York, the Incorporated Village of Laurel Hollow may appoint as Village officers, other than Mayor, Trustee or member of any board or commission, any person who is otherwise qualified to hold public office, provided that such person shall at the time of his or her appointment and during his or her continuance in office be either a resident of the Incorporated Village of Laurel Hollow, the County of Nassau, or the County of Suffolk.
