It shall be lawful for any authorized organization, upon obtaining a
license as provided in Article 9-A of the General Municipal Law, to conduct
games of chance within the Town of Wappinger, subject to the provisions of
this chapter, Article 9-A of the General Municipal Law and the New York State
Racing and Wagering Board.
The conduct of games of chance on Sunday is only permitted when it is
specifically provided for in the license issued. No games of chance, however,
shall be conducted on Easter Sunday, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, Rosh
Hashanah or Yom Kippur.
The chief law enforcement officer of the County of Dutchess shall exercise
control over and supervision of all games of chance.

Any person, firm or corporation who or which shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter or any rule or regulation made pursuant thereto shall be guilty of a violation and shall be punished by a fine in the amount set forth in Chapter
122, Article
V, §
122-20P of the Code or imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or both.
