A. 
The definitions contained in the Vehicle Code[1] shall apply to this article where applicable.

B. 
As used in this article, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
DEAD STORAGE
The parking of vehicles in such mechanical or physical condition that they cannot be moved at any time under their own power for more than 48 hours.

It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to park any vehicle on any highway or sidewalk for the purpose of washing, greasing or repairing the same, except in case of emergency, or for dead storage.

Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction before a District Justice, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $1,000, plus costs of prosecution, and, in default of payment of such fine and costs, to imprisonment in the county jail for a term not exceeding 30 days.
