The purpose of this chapter is to authorize
certain public servants of the Village of Geneseo to issue and serve
appearance tickets in connection with violations of state statutes,
local laws, ordinances and rules and regulations of the Village which
the public servants are authorized or required to enforce.

The Code Enforcement Officer and the Zoning
Enforcement Officer of the Village of Geneseo are hereby authorized
to issue and serve an appearance ticket with respect to a violation
of any state statute, local law, ordinance, rule or regulation of
the Village of Geneseo that such public servant has been required
or authorized to enforce.
The appearance ticket authorized by this chapter
shall be in such form as the Board of Trustees shall authorize.
