[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sands Point 7-14-1921 by Ord. No. 2; amended in its entirety 12-11-1953. Amendments noted where applicable.]
No person shall:
A. 
Willfully or maliciously set fire to or assist another to set fire to any waste or forest lands or fields belonging to another person whereby such forests or fields are injured or endangered.
B. 
Negligently set fire to his own woods or fields by means whereof the property of another is endangered.
C. 
Negligently suffer any fire upon his own land to extend beyond the limits thereof.
D. 
Set fire to or assist another to set fire to or cause to be burned any leaves, trash or other materials upon the paved portion, shoulders or gutters of any public street in the Village of Sands Point.

Any person violating any provision of this chapter shall pay a fine of $250 for each and every offense, and in addition thereto such violation shall constitute and is hereby declared to be disorderly conduct, and any person violating the same shall be and is hereby declared to be a disorderly person.
