Town of Saratoga, NY Chapter 94 Officers and Employees

Article I Terms of Office

[Adopted 8-14-2006 by L.L. No. 6-2006]

§ 94-1 Terms of office extended.

Commencing with the next biennial Town election to be held in November 2007, the terms of office for the positions of Town Clerk, Superintendent of Highways and Tax Collector in the Town of Saratoga shall be extended from two years to four years.

§ 94-2 Mandatory referendum.

A proposition to approve this article shall be submitted to the voters of the Town at the general election to be held November 7, 2006.

§ 94-3 Effective date.

This article shall take effect upon approval of the voters in the general election to be held November 7, 2006.[1]
