It is the purpose of this article to establish
those minimum off-street parking and loading requirements deemed necessary
to prevent traffic congestion, to promote public safety and, by keeping
the traffic lanes clear, to provide a transportation system capable
of serving existing and future land uses.
A.
Off-street parking space shall be required for all
buildings and land uses established after the adoption of this chapter.
Each off-street parking space so required shall consist of at least
200 square feet and have a minimum width of 10 feet. In addition,
space necessary for aisles, maneuvering and drives shall be provided.
B.
The number of off-street parking spaces required,
by use, is specified in the following table.

A.
At least one off-street loading space shall be provided
for each commercial or industrial use hereinafter established. The
off-street loading space(s) shall be in addition to any required off-street
parking spaces and shall be of adequate size to accommodate the type
of vehicle normally associated with the commercial or industrial use
to be served.
B.
The location and size of all off-street loading spaces
shall be determined during special permit review.
