GENERAL REFERENCES
Community Relations Committee — See Ch. 22.
Economic Development Zone — See Ch. 35.
A Community Development Advisory Board is established consisting of 10 members, as follows:
A. 
City Planner.
B. 
One member to be appointed by the citizen's forum.
C. 
Eight members to be appointed by the Mayor, three of which shall be for terms of three years; three for terms of two years, and two for terms of one year.
A. 
The Community Development Advisory Board is charged with the responsibility of insuring continuous citizen participation throughout the community development process.
B. 
The Community Development Advisory Board is empowered with the authority to do the following:
(1) 
Keep the public and the Council informed on the status of community development projects;
(2) 
Provide additional citizen recommendations on approved projects;
(3) 
Receive at request financial reports from the administration on community development monies spent.
The Community Development Advisory Board or any duly authorized member of said Board shall have the right of access to and technical assistance from the various City departments in furtherance of its legitimate purposes. These requests should be made in writing and channeled through the Bureau of Planning and Community Development. It will be the responsibility of the Bureau of Planning to see that each request is forwarded to the appropriate department or agency for further action.
