[Adopted 3-1-1973 as Art. VI of
Sub-Part C of Part I and § 2-19 of Ch. 2 of the 1973 Code]
Pursuant to § 77-b of the General
Municipal Law of the State of New York, the Mayor is hereby delegated
the power to authorize the attendance of any employees at official
or unofficial conventions or conferences of municipal officers or
employees or at any meeting or school conducted for the betterment
of the municipal government believed by him/her to be of benefit to
the municipality.
A.
The Mayor shall be and he/she hereby is authorized
and empowered to delegate and designate City officials to attend such
conferences and conventions as he/she may, in his/her discretion,
deem necessary to be attended.
B.
The City Treasurer, the City Comptroller, and all
other proper boards and officers of the City shall be and they are
authorized and directed to pay the necessary, actual and individual
expenses incurred by any City official in attending such conferences
and conventions as they have been delegated and designated to attend
by the Mayor.
