[Adopted 3-1-1973 as Art. I of Ch. 24 of the 1973 Code]
The Juvenile Aid Bureau, a division of the Police Department of the City, is hereby created, which shall consist of four police officers and one policewoman having the rank of detective lieutenant (Juvenile Aid Bureau), which Bureau shall be concerned solely with matters concerning aid to juveniles.
The salaries to be paid to each of the police officers of the Juvenile Aid Bureau shall be equal to the salaries of the officers having the rank of detective.

The Bureau of Police shall have the right to charge a fee for preparing fingerprints as follows:
A. 
For pistol permit applications, the fee shall be $30 per person for fingerprint application.
B. 
For all other fingerprint applications, the fee shall be $20 per person.

The City Council believes that it would benefit the citizens of Troy if the members of the Troy Police Department resided within the City limits. Therefore, the police officers of the Troy Police Department are hereby required to reside within the Troy City limits. This provision shall take effect immediately, except that it shall not apply to any current police officer of the Police Department who currently resides outside the City limits.
